Inland Steel Building

Modern architecture surely made it space on the streets of this famous city. Started from Shopping malls to the modern banks every place was swept with the technological design and state of art technology. One such big example is the Inland Steel Building. This building was the first of its kind which was built after the great Depression of Chicago in 1930. The building was started in 1956 and was completed in a short span of only one year. The first Chicago Skyscraper built in the area of the Chicago Loop. This classical building was given the honour of being added to the prestigious Chicago Landmark list in 1998.

The beautiful master piece really catches the eyes of the tourist and the locals and is really a treat to watch for millions. Designed by the famous architect of modern times Bruce Graham and Walter Netsch this beautiful master piece rose to the height of 332 feet. The building is a classical example of the post war era. After the famous Second World War the technology was given a different taste and this building was a classical example of that era.

Located on the famous Monroe Street in Chicago the building is famous because of its unique stainless steel cladding. The exterior of the building just speaks for the head quarter of the major Company Inland Steel. In the bright sun the reflection of the stainless steel gives such good ambiance to the viewers that it’s always a pleasure to see it.
