Reliance Building

Skyscraper has been the talk of the town the day first of its types emerged on the earth. The Chicago Reliance building is a trend setter in Chicago for the fact that it was the first skyscraper which used large plate glass windows. The building had a unique steel frame superstructure. This giant superstructure was built on top of the concrete base. The base was dug almost 125 feet in the ground below the ground level to give a solid foundation to the building which was not there before in the skyscrapers. It is indeed a national treasure for the people of Chicago.
